Father Quinlan currently serves as the Pastor of Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Harrisburg.  He previously served as Secretary for Education of the diocese for 22 years.  He also served on the Pennsylvania Catholic Conference as Moderator the Education Department. 

Other educational assignments included: Principal of Bishop McDevitt High School and Delone Catholic High School, Executive Director of Holy Spirit School in Mount Carmel and the Cathedral School in Harrisburg. 

Earlier pastoral assignments saw service as the Catholic Chaplain for Harrisburg Hospital and as Contract Chaplain for the 193 Special Operations Group of the PA Air National Guard.  Father Quinlan was ordained for the Diocese of Harrisburg in 1978.
