Bob was born and raised in Steelton and graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School in 1965. He and his wife Linda (McDevitt ’66) have two children, Rob (McDevitt ’89) and Laurie (McDevitt ’93), and four grandchildren. He and his wife have been members of the Cathedral Parish in Harrisburg since 1994.
Bob worked in the Financial Services industry from 1972 until his retirement in 2022. In 1999, he founded Premier Wealth Management® where he served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Today the firm has an extensive national footprint with many offices in 14 states, and clients in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
Bob had been privileged to be affiliated with the top-ranked broker-dealer in the country, and for his last 19 years in business, his Enterprise Group was in the top 10 nationally out of nearly 400 such groups at his broker-dealer.
Bob retired in 2022 and today serves as Chairman Emeritus of the Premier Wealth Management® Board of Directors. In addition, he serves as Chairman of the Hershey Theatre Advisory Board and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Harrisburg chapter of Legatus. He is the founder and Executive Director of the LFA Foundation, which helps families access therapies and services that can allow their diagnosed loved ones to reach their highest potential in life. The LFA Foundation was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in 2018.
Bob has been philanthropically involved with a number of religious, educational and non-profit groups and associations. He is an avid supporter and has been actively involved with the Central Pennsylvania Friends of Jazz where he has been a member since 1984. He served on the original Bishop McDevitt Capital Campaign and served as a co-chair of the McDevitt Legacy Campaign. He is also the co-chair of the Capital Campaign for the Cathedral Education Center.
Bob and his wife Linda currently reside in West Hanover Township.
