Michael Modica was born in Harrisburg and currently resides in Susquehanna Township with his wife Mary (Marian 1976). He attended St. Margaret Mary School, Bishop McDevitt High School (1970) and HACC for Police Administration and Paramedic certification.
Mike’s three siblings, Linda, Mary Jean and Susan also attended McDevitt, as did his four children, Theresa (2004), Michael II (2006), Rosalie (2008) and Mary Elise (2010). He is the proud grandfather of Adriana and Lennon Ward, Haley and Makenzie Fisher, Anthony Modica and Vincent and Matthew Little.
Mike currently is employed as the Vice President- Fleet Services for New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc. and has worked for over forty-five years in the field of construction transportation and heavy equipment management. He serves on the Leadership Roundtable for Command Alkon, Inc. in Birmingham, AL, is a member of NAFA (a worldwide association of equipment management professionals) and a member of the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association.
Mike has served as the President, Vice President, Board Member and Chairman of the Board in several local emergency response organizations and is a life member at Progress Fire Co., and Mt. Pleasant Fire and Rescue Services. He is a parishioner at the Cathedral Parish of St. Patrick. Mike has served on many different athletic staffs at McDevitt through the years including football, boys’ basketball and girls basketball.
