Dear Alumni, Parents, and Friends of Bishop McDevitt High School,

It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as the new Director of Development at Bishop McDevitt High School. I am thrilled to join the Crusader family and look forward to learning about your personal experience at Bishop McDevitt.

In my time as acting Development Director at the American Lung Association, I found that passion is paramount in fundraising. As a product of Catholic education and an advocate for school choice, I am overjoyed to be in this position. In the few weeks of this new role, I quickly learned how incredibly passionate the McDevitt family is and I know that together we will do great things.

Although 2020 was full of challenges, it is evident that this school community has not allowed the pandemic to overshadow its commitment to lives of holiness, integrity, justice, and responsible citizenship. I am quickly learning that Bishop McDevitt is comprised of dedicated administrators, faculty, staff and students who demonstrate ingenuity, hard work and a commitment to learning.

I look forward to working with you to build upon the foundation that advances the mission of Bishop McDevitt. My goal is to align your passions with the needs of the school, enabling you to leave your own legacy at Bishop McDevitt for generations to come. We will continue our fundraising efforts to support our operational needs, scholarships and endowments and capital improvements

What I see in the Bishop McDevitt community reminds me of Romans 12:5 "So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another." We are one community here committed to supporting our students in pursuing a faith-filled, exceptional education. I am blessed to be a member of this family and look forward to growing together.

God Bless,
Kahley Stewart
