Connor Marsico ’13 became Bishop McDevitt’s athletic director in March of 2023, following in the footsteps of Tommy Mealy, Jim Bruno, Gary Quigley, Mariano DeFillippo, and Mike Frey.
Connor earned his B.S. in Sports Administration from Lock Haven University where he was a captain of the football team. In college, he worked for the Athletic Department and oversaw promotions for the wrestling program. At McDevitt, he also was a captain of the football team and played on three district champion teams and in two state finals. He also played baseball and basketball. His brothers Alex and Ben also were football and basketball captains for the Crusaders.
Recently, Marsico was the Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Central Dauphin East, where he served as a teacher. He also coached at Steel-High where the team won a PIAA State Championship. Additionally, he was an assistant coach here at McDevitt under Head Coach Jeff Weachter. He has also coached youth football for the Central Penn Crusaders and Holy Name Jets.
Connor has been an integral part of the Big 33 Football Game for several years, working game day operations and event management. He has also worked for the Mr. PA Football and Mr. and Miss PA Basketball programs. Additionally, Connor served as a game day intern for the Harrisburg Senators.
