Placement Test Registration

All incoming freshmen are required to take a placement test. This test helps the academic departments place incoming freshmen in the appropriate level of courses offered at Bishop McDevitt.

Transfer students (grades 10-12) are NOT required to take a placement test however, transcripts from your previous school are required.

The placement test is computer based, therefore pre-registration is required and we cannot accept late registrations or walk-ins.

If your student attends a Catholic grade school, you will be required to submit their Student ID Number when you register for the placement test. This number can be obtained through your grade school. This is important for not only registering for the test, but tracking data through their freshman year.  If your student attends a public grade school, simply place N/A in the registration form and we will create one for your student.

We are currently scheduling student for Placement Tests on February 29, March 21 and May 2nd. Please contact our offices to schedule your test today!

Since the placement test is computer based, results will be received and shared with immediately after the test. If you have any questions, please contact:
