We invite you to be a part of something special! Bishop McDevitt High School is bringing back Mini-THON to wipe out childhood cancer by supporting Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital in Hershey, PA.
Mini-THON is just around the corner, and we’re looking for passionate individuals like you to make it a success.
Adult volunteers are needed to support Mini-THON activities, including but not limited to registration, guiding guests, and food service.
Volunteering is Important Because You’ll Be…
- Making a difference. We can’t do Mini-THON without you!
- Supporting McD students “doing good” in support of a great cause.
- Making it possible for families in our community to receive Four Diamonds support.
- Receiving a FREE T-shirt and our appreciation for helping make Mini-THON happen.
What We Need From You:
- A commitment to covering one or more 3-hour shifts on Feb. 22.
- All-day volunteers (9:30 am to 10:30 pm) are needed and welcome!
- Volunteers are required to complete the requirements as stipulated by the Youth Protection Program of the Diocese of Harrisburg. All individuals MUST follow the Diocesan guidelines regardless of any current or past clearances obtained for other entities including employers.

If you are obtaining or renewing your Diocesean Clearances you are strongly encouraged to complete the checklist before January 10.
How to Become a Volunteer:
- To volunteer, click here and fill out our volunteer registration form.
- Signing up now will be a big help to us. Please let us know your willingness to volunteer, and provide your Diocesean Clearances Checklist information no later than Friday, January 10.
Volunteer assignments will be distributed the week of February 17.
