Crusader for a Day

Prospective students in eighth grade, as well as potential transfers, are invited to visit for a day. These students will be paired with current Bishop McDevitt students and shadow throughout the day. Guests enjoy a complimentary lunch and experience firsthand what makes Bishop McDevitt so special.

We do our best to match your child with a McDevitt student who is academically similar and shares the same interests. If there is a student you know and would like host you, we will make every effort to accommodate this.

Students shadowing at this time are to follow our COVID-19 procedures including a temperature check and mask must be worn. Students that have come in contact with someone with COVID-19 within 14 days of their visit will be asked to reschedule at a later day.

Dress Code:

We ask that all Crusader for a Day visitors dress professionally. Please avoid wearing jeans.

On the morning of your Crusader for a Day visit, you arrive by 7:40am. Your hosts will meet you in the front office and you will receive a lunch pass and a schedule for the day.  You may bring a book to read in case your host has a test or quiz. School dismissal is 2:45pm. Parents should arrive by 2:35pm in the Main Office.

The parent and student will meet with the Director of Admissions at the end of the day.

How to Sign Up:
