Francis T Chardo P'24, '27
Fran Chardo has served as the District Attorney of Dauphin County since 2018. He leads a staff of 31 prosecutors, 14 detectives, and 34 support staff. He has been a prosecutor for 31 years.
Fran is an adjunct professor at Widener University Commonwealth Law School and serves as an advocacy instructor at the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University.
In 2012, he received the Distinguished Faculty Award from the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Institute.
Fran lives in Lower Paxton Township with his wife, Christine, and daughters, Catie and Sophie. They are parishioners at St. Joan of Arc Parish where Christine serves as a third grade teacher.
