You are a member of an advertising agency which puts together pamphlets, brochures, manuals, and other documents. A client has come to you to design a pamphlet describing the elements of design in a page layout, text alignment, font style and how the written word differs from a web page.
You will divide yourselves in groups. Your group will be divided into 3 team members. Each member will be responsible for the activities and research described. Then, as a group, you will synthesize your research and a triptych (5 pages of information and 1 cover) that includes a synthesis of your work.
Your triptych will include:
Cover/Title page
Questions that a Graphic Designer must ask him/herself before getting to work on a project.
Definition of Page Layout
Factors that influence layout and design of printed material.
History of fonts and font style.
Your triptych will be done in a publisher document in landscape format, having 3 columns.
