Maria Behr Memorial Scholarship Fund

            The Class of 1978 has established the Maria Behr Memorial Scholarship Fund.  For those who may not know, Maria perished in the World Trade Center tragedy.  This scholarship is endowed and the interest will enable an eighth grade student from Holy Family School to attend Bishop McDevitt High School.   

            After 9/11 a flagpole and memorial (in front of the school) was dedicated to Maria.  The Class of 1978 is selling special bricks to line the pathway around the flagpole. This fundraising effort will provide additional funds for the scholarship.
