McDevitt Wrestling

The McDevitt Wrestling team competed last weekend at the AA District Tournament held at Hershey Park Arena. Jon Sharp has now qualified for the AA Southeastern Regional Tournament. He will be competing for a chance to wrestle at the State Championships. Here is the upcoming wrestling schedule:

Pennsylvania's Big 33 High School Football Team

Three McDevitt Football players this season were selected to the 2010 Big 33 Team. Jonathan Duckett, Salath Williams and Corey Ford were chosen on Jan 1, 2010 to represent Pennsylvania as they take on the top 33 high school players from Ohio. The 53rd game will be held at Hershey Park Stadium, June 19, 2010 with kickoff at 7:00 PM. For more information about the Big 33 Game, visit their website at www.big33.org. Physicals for Spring Sports

All student-athletes participating in a spring 2010 sport must have a Physical completed for the 2010 season.  Physicals will be offered at Bishop McDevitt High School on Monday, February 22, 2010 (Girls 9:00am-10:00am, Boys 10:00am-12:00pm).  Physicals by a family Doctor must be dated less than sixty days before the season begins.  All students must have medical insurance.  If you do not have adequate coverage, please see the athletic director immediately to discuss available options.

A number of Bishop McDevitt football team members were named by the Patriot News to the Mid-Penn Conference Football All-Stars for the Keystone Division.

Defense:
