The Advancement Office is to obtain charitable gifts for Bishop McDevitt High School through the friend/fundraising cycle comprising identification, information, cultivation, solicitation, and recognition of our constituents that include current parents, parents of alumni, alumni, grandparents, friends, and foundations.

Welcome! Our Advancement Staff works tirelessly to further the mission of our school and now, with the help of our new bishopmcdevitt.org, we have  undertaken an even more valuable mission: strengthening our relationship with our alumni and friends. I am so happy to be a part of the McDevitt family as I continue my works here at the school. I work hard to keep the traditions alive and to keep in contact with as many of you as possible.

Over 18,000 living Harrisburg Catholic/Bishop McDevitt High Alums are located all over the world, and we are eager to connect with you. Of that large group, there are 3,000 alumni out there whose last contact with their alma mater was graduation day, and we are excited to use this website as an opportunity to reunite with you.

My team in our office is amazing to work with and they keep very busy staying in touch with as many of you as possible and keeping the news coming on a regular basis. Yes, we ask everyone to help us financially, but as you all know, we are more than the funds we solicit. We are a school with a legacy of families that span multiple generations with many more to come through our doors doing many good deeds around the community.  We invite you to join us on one of our many committees.  We can always use your help.

My focus over the past two years has been the Capital Campaign, while also continuing the day-to-day operations of the Advancement Office.  If you have any questions about the campaign, I invite you to call or write to me today.  I would be happy to meet with you to discuss the new school anytime that is convenient for you.

The possibilities are endless with this website. Never miss an issue of our alumni Twin Towers Magazine as it is now available electronically through a link on this site. Reunion information will be published as it is made available to our office. Update us with your news, change your address, and find former classmates, simply by hitting send.
