Our Mission:

The Advancement Office is to obtain charitable gifts for Bishop McDevitt High School through the friend/fundraising cycle comprising identification, information, cultivation, solicitation, and recognition of our constituents that include current parents, parents of alumni, alumni, grandparents, friends, and foundations.

 I would like to welcome you to our redesigned home on the web. Thank you for taking time to visit.

 Our Advancement Staff works tirelessly to further the mission of our school and now, with the help of our new bishopmcdevitt.org, we have  undertaken an even more valuable mission: strengthening our relationship with our alumni.

 Over 17,000 living Harrisburg Catholic/Bishop McDevitt High Alums are located all over the world, and we are eager to connect with you. Of that large  group, there are 4,000 alumni out there whose last contact with their alma mater was graduation day, and we are excited to use this website as an  opportunity to reunite with you.

 This very website came to fruition because of the time and talent of three of our alumni, (Ron Hetrick, '96, Ryan Coleman, '01, and Teresa van  Wagner, '01), and is proof of the invaluable role our alumni play in the day-to-day accomplishments at Bishop McDevitt High School. We are grateful to them for seeing this project through.

The possibilities are endless with this new web resource. Never miss an issue of our alumni Twin Towers Magazine as it is now available electronically through a link on this site. Reunion information will be published as it is made available to our office. Update us with your news, change your address, and find former classmates, simply by hitting send.

Due to the overwhelming request of alumni, we are now thrilled to offer online giving. Gifts to Bishop McDevitt can be made through our secure site. Our latest McDevitt Fund appeal, "Teacher Tribute," will be your first opportunity to do so.
