Application

For Fall 2014 Incoming Freshmen:

The 2014-2015 Admission Application is now on our website. Please click here to download it. No fee is required with the submission of the Admission Application. Please remember, the Admission Application simply holds a spot for your student.  A student is not officially enrolled until the Registration and Tuition Agreement form is provided by the Director of Admissions and is returned with the registration fee.

Monthly tuition can be arranged by using FACTS. More information regarding the company, instructions and payment can be found here. No student will be enrolled until the Registration, FACTS accounts and monies are received.

8th grade students who attend one of our feeder elementary schools will be mailed the Registration and Tuition Agreement form unless an interview is required. An interview may be required due to information gathered from progress reports submitted by the feeder schools regarding grades or behavior.  Please click here to download the Admission Application.

8th grade students who attend a public or other private school should contact the admissions office to schedule an interview with the Director of Admissions, 717-236-7973 x2132. The student and parent will need to be present at the interview. A current progress report, most recent report card, previous school year final report card and a discipline record from the current school is required at the time of the interview. The Registration and Tuition Agreement form will be given after careful review of grades, discipline record and successful completion of the interview. Interviews are mandatory. Please click here to download the Admission Application.

All incoming freshmen are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). This test helps the Assistant Principal of Studies place incoming freshmen in the appropriate level of courses offered at Bishop McDevitt. Test dates will be Saturday, January 11 or January 25, 2014. There is a $30 registration fee for the HSPT and preregistration is required. Please contact Jill Hanes, Director of Admissions for more information.

For Fall 2014 Upperclassmen Students:

All upperclassmen students transferring to Bishop McDevitt must interview with the Director of Admissions. To set up the admissions interview, please contact Mrs. Jill Hanes, 717-236-7973 x2132.
