Bishop McDevitt's Poetry Club is here to help you find your poetic voice, and once found, to liberate that voice; a community of artists, poets, writers, musicians, and free thinkers; a cumulative effort to persevere as individuals.

The Fallout Shelter is a yearly journal and a flyer that is published at each of the school's Open Mic Nights. Submission guidelines are available here.

The Poetry Club offers the McDevitt community:

• Workshops for poetry, short stories, nonfiction pieces, etc.
• Poetry flyers and possible publication
• Open mic nights, better known as "The Crusader Cafe"
• A positive environment in which to grow as a writer
