Physical Education

The physical education department offers elective courses with the primary objective of promoting lifetime activities. Secondary objectives are to give the students a level of fitness and develop basic skills in specific areas. The student will choose from different activities each quarter. These electives are:

  • Basketball
  • Bowling
  • Fitness
  • Flag Football
  • Indoor Hockey
  • Low Organizational Games
  • Pickleball
  • Running/Walking
  • Soccer
  • Softball
  • Strength Training
  • Volleyball
  • Wiffleball

Health

This class is for freshman and it discusses total health.  During the course, drugs and alcohol abuse are addressed, and exercise and safety are stressed.

Driver's Education

For sophomores, this class is desitned to teach all aspects of driving while in a classroom setting, with special attention given to proper driving attitude.  Most insurance companies will give a 10% reduction in insurance premiums with the successful completion of this Driver's Education course.
