Diocesan Education Conference Honors Teachers

On Wednesday, September 30, 2009, five teachers from Bishop McDevitt High School were honored by the Diocesan Education Conference for their 20+ years of service in Catholic Education.  The following teachers were honored: Connie Fenice, Dave Moyer, Lois Knapp, Vince Corrado, and Ellen Chapman.  Thank you for your dedication!

McD Marching Band in National Parade

Members of the Bishop McDevitt High School Marching Band and Color Guard took part in the National Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25, 2009, held in Washington, D.C.  The band was one of four selected to represent the state of Pennsylvania in the parade.  After many hours of practicing and preparing, the band enjoyed their march down Constitution Avenue, cheered on by the thousands of people that lined the parade route.  Read the article on Penn Live for additional details.
